Waypoint Aviation Connections Networking Event

Waypoint Aviation Connections is a networking event organized by the students of Vancouver’s universities for those interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry. Waypoint’s aim is to connect industry professionals to aspiring individuals. SFU Aviation and UBC Aviation first teamed up in September of 2015. The event featured nearly 100 students and 30 corporate representatives and was considered a resounding success by its participants. The attending companies included some of the best-recognized airlines in the country, as well as numerous local firms and government organizations. Our most recent event was hosted and generously supported by BCIT in partnership with UBC Aviation, SFU Aviation, and the BC Aviation Council Youth

Engagement Committee. This was our biggest event yet with over 130 participants and with guest speakers from Harbour Air, Chinook Helicopters, YVRAA.
